[Dx-qsl] New IRCs starting to ship

What's an "IMM"? ... training exercise? ...locking up their cash flow?
Sounds like a lot of fear over what? What does that all mean in simple
terms? Why the comments on the DX-QSL reflector?
... too many questions... I apologize.

Ron, makes sense!! Of all the things I deal with in QSL management, the
worst task I have is getting rid of these things via the post office.
Basically it becomes a training exercise on the IMM. And more importantly,
the post office doesn't really like them either. I'm told that they
effectively lock up their cash flow ..... as the value of IRCs they accept
are like having that value in stamps, and they cannot redeem them often.
Probably will be worse this year, seeing that in the US, we don't sell them
any more. Going to do a trial run later this month

Hi Steve.,,,
I will stop accepting the current ones in November. The new ones
should be available world wide (except usa) by the end of this
month.

Hi everyone, received my FIRST new IRC today! Expiration date 12/31/2017.
Just a note to let folks know they should be insisting on purchase of the
new IRC from their post office, and more importantly, start using up those
old ones. There is usually a hard cut off date, I've found, with the post
office, so if you send one to me in mid-late December, it may not be good
for me by the time I get it and get to the post office.
Just wanted to give a heads up. Wish the darn things would go away, but....
