[Dx-qsl] DXCC

As a management consultant for 30 years, the first thing that perks my ears
is the old..."we've always done it like that" comment. LOTW seems to be
working now and is very informative, and is re-capturing those that were
ready to dump the ARRL due to antiquated methods of DXCC QSL checking, and
non-support and responsiveness for my membership dollars, or ....bang for
the buck! Glad someone woke up !!!

As has been stated, they finally "got it", but this project may be a bit
more "sticky" due to other DX entities authorizations. I've always been
mystified by the DXCC. Sometimes, as in my case, the CY0AA documentation
was cleared efficiently and quickly. Where the 7O1YGF, and G3JKI/5A
expeditions were concerned, it took YEARS to get approved. Some guidance
from them would've been helpful, other than..."sorry, the wrong person
signed the license". Maybe a database maintained by DXCC of what is needed
for each country to be approved would make things easier. The information
is out there, they just have to compose and decide on what IS truly needed.

I know they're jobs aren't easy, but maybe they should look at changing the
methods to make it easier for them and others.

IMHO...with still a THANK YOU to the DXCC for their efforts to make it
better in the future.
