Sadly, this is true. Remember when QST stopped printing our DXCC totals? We were told at the time it was a software glitch which would be fixed. I don't remember how many years ago that was, but they must still be working on that 'glitch.' Maybe the ads are more profitable? For years my cards were returned in secure boxes. Then one day I was shocked to find them returned in a flimsy envelope that had ripped open. It's a wonder they didn't fall out. If it had not been for the rubber band, I'm sure some would have slipped out. I complained about this and was told by someone that the message would get to the right people. The next shipment also came in an envelope, which had less cards and luckily didn't rip open. Now that checkers can check 160M QSLs, I'll use their services. Maybe this was the idea DXCC had in mind. ;-))
Just checked the latest note on LoTW and the same message is there, except the 4 days has been changed to 6 days. I have an upload longer than that which is still not showing. I also expect things to get much worse before they get better. To add to the backlog, NH8S uploaded on Nov 11. (No QSLs via LoTW from them yet)
PT0S says they are uploading to LoTW now. And we have the
CQWW CW contest coming up this weekend. Imagine all this added to the queue on
top of the already severely backlogged system.
I've been on LoTW since the year it started and have been satisfied with the service until now. I don't know if the system needs to be expanded to handle extra traffic
following major contests and DXpeditions, if they need someone with more expertise to
oversee the system, if they should conduct routine maintenance, or all the above. But
whatever, something just ain't right. Just sent my concerns to my section manager and division director. All left to do now is wait and hope for the best.

YOU HAVE to realize that the ARRL is reluctant to tell anyone the TRUTH
about how FAR behind it really is ! BUT I agree 7 days is probably MUCH
closer & its going to get MUCH worse.
