[Dx-qsl] Envelopes

I'm in a bit of a quandary when it comes to what size envelope to use for my
SASE with DX stations.

Because I print my own cards using Avery "postcard" cardstock, I send
everything out in the larger #12 envelopes. This means I can use a standard
#10 for the return envelope, which ought to cover just about all bases...
right?

Only, I've noticed many envelopes coming back that have been trimmed down a
few inches. The envelope with the ZS6EZ card had a note on it that had he
not done so, the "oversize" envelope would have cost him an extra $2 in
postage... which certainly explains why this is done.

Yet, if I include a smaller #6 envelope instead, some of the return DX cards
don't fit in it. A #9? Well, it's not THAT much smaller than the #10 it's
meant to nest in.

Now what?

I'm hoping to find something that will both fit inside the #12 without
folding, AND be readily available at an office supply store without special
ordering, so that I can pick them up on short notice. But, if I have to
stock up, I will.

Thoughts?
