Rob, as a ham and professional translator, you might find DXView's
"universal translator" interesting: it provides common "QSO phrases" in ~70
languages, displaying the phrases you choose in languages most likely to be
used given you QSO partner's callsign. There are three examples shwon near
the bottom of

<http://www.dxlabsuite.com/dxview/>

Any help you can provide with missing translations would be appreciated --
e.g. "73" in Hindi, "My callsign" in Thai...

    73,

        Dave, AA6YQ

Not quite... am I ham and translator and own a translation company... I
wouldn't describe myself as falling in the marginal category. Being a
Professional Translator is a very respectable profession as I guess any
other professional would be and belittling a whole profession for one non-
translators' bad use of language is poor judgment.
