During one of the Aves Island DXpeditions YV0, several years ago, the addressee in YV got my letter, but the $$$$$ were missing, so the DXpedition returned my letter in the QSL return evenlope I had enclosedand they said they weren't sending a QSL without a "donation". Funny though they had to pay the airmail postage for the return envelope to tell me they weren't sending me a QSL without a "donation."
Apparently I wasn't the only one who had that occur. The YV0 folks finally opened a mail drop in Miami and an airline pilot picked up the mail and hand carried it to YV-land. I finally got a YV0 card after
they opened the Miami mail drop.
