i used IRC s for years and years and just got back into it a little. I got them from post office and had to order them. They didnt carry them or know what they were. Didnt think they had to be stamped. Any way, they will be stamped, may not make a diifference, but not willing to chance it. Thanks for all the replies to help. John W3BJ

To try to summarize, the USA requires they be stamped when they sell
them, but do not require they be stamped to redeem them.
The important thing to remember is that some countries/foreign postal
clerks DO require they be stamped before they will redeem them. So
if you send an unstamped IRC outside of the USA, you -may- be sending
an IRC that the receiver will not be able to redeem at their local post office.
Get your new IRCs stamped on the left side before you send them for
the sake of the foreign hams who will have to redeem them at their
post offices.
