I second that! Fred has been involved in all aspects of Ham
radio for a lot longer than I have been on the air, and personifies
accuracy and diligence in all aspects of it. I've worked K3ZO in
many contests, and no mater if it is your 8th time in 3 years on 20M
CW, if you send Fred a card by the bureau, you get one back. I have
a drawer with many of Fred's QSLs to back this up!

For those who are unaware, Fred is also a FOC member. If you
don't know what FOC is, look it up on the Internet. It is the
pinnacle of peer recognition in CW prowess combined with a
gentlemanly approach to the avocation. There are only ever 500
members worldwide, ever. Looking at the membership roster reads like
a who's who in DXing, contesting, and all around dedication to HF operating.

Fred is just one of many buro sorters world wide, and they all
do us a tremendous service. There are too many to single out, and I
mentioned Fred only because GF4FAM did first. I want to thank all
the buro sorters, including our Canadian guru, Nenad VE3EXY, for the
countless hours they have spent over the decades ensuring our cards
flow back and forth as quickly and as accurately as possible. Our
bureaus are a valuable commodity made possible only by the volunteer
work and dedication of the sorters in EVERY country.

73, Paul VE1DX
