Hi Mike & Paul -
Email is the strong point of BBs. For years they have been considered a
"corporate tool", but in order to survive they have been agressivly
targeting a non-corporate, younger market and trying to go head on with the
iPhone.
The problem is that because BB was considered "corporate", they are behind
the curve when it comes to 3rd party software. The good news is that they
have "seen the light" and are making strides in that department.
I am working currently working on a BB app that will include "many things DX
cluster". I started this piece of software as a learning experience, but
have recently seen several requests for "cluster releated" BB'ware. I don't
have an ETA at this point, but I'll let the DX community know when it's
ready.

That works well to "regular" email Mike, and I use it occasionally. I
don't know what you do once you get it to your PC's email. I presume you
can then have your email client (Outlook or
whatever) forward it to your Blackberry.
I haven't got a Blackberry and don't know anything about them. Maybe
you can configure VE7CC's alarm system to email your Blackberry directly is
there is a SMTP server associated with the Blackberry service.
