Every big post office has a retail window supervisor whose job it is to 
train new retail clerks and keep all of them up to date on new 
changes.  He/She will often work one of the windows when they get busy.  If 
it comes up again, ask for that person and give them a copy of the sheet I 
sent you as you outline the conflicting information you had received 
earlier.  If they're doing their job, they should thank you.  Mind did.
