 I was appointed the RSGB Sub Manager for the M5 series on the first
day of issue - August 2nd 1999

I almost religiously chased any M5's who did not supply envelopes by
any means I could - including via the then licensing authority.

When the pile of uncollected cards reached 10,000 - which included
3,500 for one station - I gave up chasing.

If they don't 'follow the rules' tough cookies.

But it sure hurt throwing away some cards.
