Folks: after an exchange of email with Tim, I figured out that the
SMTP envelope-sender address is used to check the white list.  The
failures to post to this reflector was caused by the difference between
the envelope-sender address and the From:-field address.  
I understand Tim's intent on the policy and accept it.  

My apology to Tim and all the list subscribers.
