Sorry I misunderstood about VP6.  If you want proper credit you should
probably send an email to dxcc at arrl.org and I am sure they will fix the
problem, if what you say is what matches the paper work they received.  They
are only humans and do sometimes make errors, however I have found them very
will to correct errors.  

TT - Chad is just one of those countries they check thoroughly and those
licenses are only good for 12 months, as I recall.

I can only guess that they depend on the award recipient to notify them of
an error and they don't have time to go back and check everyone else.  Again
just a guess on my part.

Thx Bernie, What has happened... I had submitted the card for Pitcarin on
the 22nd, for some reason they typed in Ducie <showing that on the Credit
Slip> and that's the mistake. 

The card checker also would have picked up the wrong Island name on the
sheet looking at the card too I am sure.

About TT8PK Chad, I would have thought after what 3 years now or more of
Phil going there once a year with the military , they would realize he
operates legally, and would not ask for any more info.

What P's me off is that when it does become good for credit, you have to
call and chase it around, its not an automatic computer thing that gives you
credit for it even since it's already been checked and paid for already. So
what happens is you resubmit the card, they bang you again for checking it
and to me that's called double dipping in my pocket.

They just nickel and dime everyone to death. It's not right, for me or
anyone else. Its not the 15 cents either...its the point of them doing what
they do, because its be done a few times before to me and I am sure hundreds
of others. Maybe they have hired Enron accountants?

October 23, 2007 - Henderson Island (counts as Pitcairn Island)
October 24, 2007 - Ducie Island

TT8PK has not submitted additional info for his second trip to Chad.

The postage fees took effect in July 2006.

VP6UU - Ducie Island - 10/22/06 - 15 Meter ---Invalid date range -  Not sure
what that is suppose to mean...I think he was only on the island for 2 hours
on 10/22/06 !!!!

TT8PK - Chad - 10/24/06 - 15 Meter CW ---- No Documetation Received..I guess
being in the French Army doing military exercises in Chad every year and
operating legally isn't good enough for some , seems we have been this route
before. What a JOKE.

Since when did they start charging 39 cent postage fee above the 10 or 12
dollar application fee too to send the Award Credit Slip back to you?

Can you tell their crap (almost everything they do lately) is taking its
toll on me? My membership is up in March, maybe I will just take it as a
good riddance .
