[Dx-qsl] When to use IRCs

I use IRCs now 75% of the time. When it comes down to 1 IRC or 2 GSs, I use
the IRC. When it comes down to 1 IRC or 1 GS, I'll decide based upon the
country's preferences and if my current supply was obtained cheaply. If it
comes down to 2 GS or 2 IRCs, I will usually go for 2 GS.

Given the fluctuations of the dollar and its ever weakening position, I find
more comfort in IRCs. Of course, with the Dec. 31 expiry date on the
current batch, it may be a more difficult decision in September or October.

Subject: [Dx-qsl] When to use IRCs

How is everyone today ?

Sometimes it's obvious when to use an IRC such as when you are warned
(occasionally) of mail theft at their end.

Sometimes it's a country where they don't want to get involved with GS
because they aren't supposed to.

But what about the random guy who goes on a one man DXpedition ?

Does anyone use IRCs here ?

I keep several new current ones here for those other cases, but sometimes
it's 8 at night and you have a bunch of 5s in your wallet and want to get
the envelope out of your way.

Thanks for the input

QSL.NET if more users don't open their wallets and help financially. Please
