Not wishing to get involved in the discussion AT ALL - but for what it
is worth, I had sent via buro, and received back via buro, four QSL
cards for QSO's with him from his Japanese QTH, admittedly a LONG time
ago (spanning from 1981 through 1998) - so he certainly QSL'ed at one
time in his ham life.

Know what it is like - spent my wifes endowment trying for a card out of
4X6TT - without ANY success at all.

Again - Only for what it is worth.
