After 3 years and 'bout 8 dollars and few IRCs Monk Apollo finally came 
through today.. Enclosed a not saying:
I would like to demand your help to a problem that I confront. Recently 
in the new regulations that made the Ministry, because the men that work 
there don't know the Mount Athos is a special DXCC-country, give the 
"SY" as a special call sign to everyone who wants it. So there is a 
confusion to radio amateur world, who believes taht those who use this 
callsign are from Mount Athos. Many Greek amateurs sayed their views to 
the Minestry, but they ignored them. I would be grateful if you send a 
message to the Ministry email yme(at)otenet.gr  asking them to stop 
issuing the "SY" and give it exclusively to Mount Athos. Thanks 
beforehand for your assistance from Mount Athos, the "Garden of Virgin 
Mary"  I sent you my best wishes. God Bless you.
Seems like Monk Apollo needs a hand.. Anyone else ever get this
