Thanks to all that replied, either direct or via the list or both.
General consensus is to write these two of these three "worthies" off as not
worth another ducat. One (GI5W) is worth another shot as some have gotten
that card via the manager.
Oh, and to clear up one point that seemed lost on a few people, yes, I do
know that 3B8CF is a good QSL'er (I already have a direct card from Jacky
for a previous QSO) as is GI0KOW (two of his also on hand). My only point
in mentioning them was that I no longer need the others to complete the
appropriate band/mode entity, since they did or will.
Now if someone could just shoot the turkey who was tuning up on 3B9C this
evening when they were coming into the US on 80, I'd be very happy (oh well,
at least I got them on two other bands tonight, and there's plenty of time
left...)

Subject: [Dx-qsl] These Three: Worth the bother?
I'm going over my stack of cards that I need to send out. I'm wondering if
ANYONE on the list has had any recent (ie last 18 - 24 months) with any of
these. I don't mind being patient, but since available shekels are
limited, I don't want to throw any more good money after bad.
The list of candidates include:
3B8FG (2002 QSO's) -- recent reputation as a GS collector? T/F?
GI5W (2002 contest QSO) -- have tried direct and via WF5E in the past, no
soap
UA2BD (2002 & 2003 QSO's) -- have tried direct, via WF5E, and via W3HNK in
the past, no soap
I'm not to concerned now with 3B8FG, as I've also worked 3B8CF (on more
bands) and I know Jacky has a reputation for coming through. Nor am I too
concerned about GI5W thanks to my recent QSL from GI0KOW on 80, so odds are
good for both of those cards to go via buro or circular file. UA2BD is my
only Kalingradsk on 80 meters (tho I do have the entity on other bands) so I
would like to get that one, but I'll live without it until another comes
along.
Any words to the wise appreciated. And once you get done emailing the wise
ones, let me know too, OK? <g>
