An interesting comment regarding the "old" IRCs.

I recently received a QSL application from a US station enclosing two of 
the "old" style IRCs.  Nothing unusual in that - except that they were 
both date stamped in October 2004!

Old style IRCs are still accepted at my local post office, but I do take 
them out of the system these days.
