[Dx-qsl] qsl returned (funny - red faced)

Gary, I find this often...many European envelopes I get do not have the country. The 'postal code' is usually sufficient, having a 'F' in front for France, D for Germany, etc. Unfortunately, the folks in our foreign postage unit seem to not be aware of this....i get them back all the time.

Now the real strange thing is, I just received one back that has a correctly completed address, returned for insufficient address. As it was rejected by the US mail, I suspect they didn't see the country (Italy was clearly written). So, cross out the stamp, and we'll try again.

Two lessons here...

1. ALWAYS put the country in the address, and INCLUDE your country in the SASE address.

2. ALWAYS put a 'return' address, both on the mail you send and the SASE. For the SASE, put the DX station/QSL manager address. That way, your envelope has a good chance of going 'somewhere'....
