[Dx-qsl] Postage

Until now a stamp for overseas in Portugal is
0.70 Euro, so US$1 is just in the line.
I know postage is going to increase soon, just
not sure when.

But then again Portugal is probably the "cheapest"
country in the European Union, I know postage
in the remaining countries costs really much more
than 70 EuroCents.

Speaking about currency I see several people mentioning
the Euro as Euro-Dollar (not you Hal), that is incorrect the
name is only EURO, the Dollar suffix is not attached.

IRC's = In Portugal some Post-office officers are reluctant
to accept old IRC's and many DX'ers that know that this are not good in
many countries keep on sending those to CT1, personally next time
I go to the Post-office and the fellow there tells me the Old IRC is not
good anymore, I will bring the card back home and put it in the bureau
pile.
