[Dx-qsl] Incoming QSL Buro

Since we are griping about buro stuff, here's mine. Perhaps it will jog
someone into action.

A guy gets 15-30 cards a month on a regular basis. He runs out of
envelopes. I send him an email and it bounces. I send him a post card
and don't hear from him for months. I finally call him and reexplain the
buro system. (He claims he doesn't know a buro exists even though he's
been using it.) He sends 2 envelopes, each with postage for 1 ounce.
Argghh. Just occasionally, I'd like someone to submit envelopes or buy
them from the buro office and send along some extra 23 cent stamps to
cover the extra weight. I don't want cash. I want stamps. Standing in
line at the post office isn't my idea of recreation. Who actually gets a
buro envelope weighing in under an ounce?? I'm not highly inclined to
send out a 4 ounce package without extra postage on it and the post
office gets a litttle short as well. This gets expensive. I've found in
my short tenure as a card sorter that the people who complain the most
about not receiving their cards in a timely manner are also often the
ones least likely to cooperate by having envelopes and adequate postage
on hand. If everyone made a point to occasionally send extra postage to
their sorter with a nice note, things might be done more to their liking.
