Hi Merv,
As a former manager of the ARRL W5 QSL Bureau (see our webpage at
www.mdxa.org for additional info about Bureaus in general and the 5th call
area in particular.
I suggest you contact Martin Cook, [email protected]
and ask Martin to look into it.
The 7th area Bureau does not (for some reason) answer email requests.
I AM sure that Martin can help you get an answer..
GOOD LUCK
When our Club (Magnolia DX Assoc.) ran the Bureau, I can assure you that
they incoming cards did not sit at the sorters. I am sure the same is true
at the W7 Bureau.
The cards we received from overseas Bureaus ranged from 3 months ago to as
long as 1979 !.. SOME overseas Bureaus are VERY SLOW in getting cards sent
on to the US.
Hope you resolve your problem
I would think one year is a reasonable time to begin to see results from
your Bureau cards that you sent.

Floyd, N5FG
FORMER MANAGER of the ARRL W5 QSL Bureau

Shortly after I supplied the 7th call area incoming bureau with funds for
postage and envelops per one of the plans they have set up. I have yet to
receive a single card from the bureau. I wrote to the incoming bureau
requesting information on my account, i.e. checking correct address, amount
they show on my account, and included an sase for them to send the answer
back to me. Per the web site I should allow 45 days for an answer. That
was almost 4 months ago. I know that my outgoing cards went out because I
have since worked a station I worked before and had sent a card to through
the bureau and he thanked me for the QSL card. Am I by myself in this or
are others having problems getting the incoming bureaus to respond to them.
