Allow me to clarify this point, for those who may take issue with it - when
I received compensation IN EXCESS of $1 or one IRC, I returned it along with
the QSL.  The extra money I refer to is the difference for example between a
dollar or IRC received, and the overseas postage needed to reply (80 cents
now, 60 cents back then)
