Nenad, I look forward to joining you in 'qsl retirement'....sadly, there are a lot of logistic issues before the cards I handle get there....there appears to be two very different issues...

-maintaining the integrity, quality and goals of awards programs for which cards are issued.

-maintining the funding for expensive dxpeditions, where QSL cards generate substantial post-operation funding.

The discussion on varioius electronic QSL methods have touched on the first. But, even LOTW has some issues regarding the second. To make electronic QSLing a reality, for rare DXpeditions, a means of recovering the lost funding is a necessary reality.

And, I guess, there is also the third issue...how does one have that pretty QSL on their wall. I know that printing quality of inkjet printers is closing in on this goal.....but......I see in these arguments most want the 'hard copy qsl'.

And, fourth...isn't chasing the QSL card part of the chase...perhaps not as exotic as breaking the pileup, but every bit as important. I find most of the folks that take shots at me....haven't learned this essential part of the game. I suspect Cass wrote something on this along the way as well..HI

Nenad, you keep doing the incredible job you do for the VE system....and I'll keep pumping out the cards here...until we can both retire...don't hold your breath!
