This is all well and good but what about those of us that have been
waiting over 6 months to a year for cards. Perhaps you may be
overstreatching yourself by trying to manage so many other amateurs.

John, you have hit the nail right on the head, and thanks for bringing
this up to the group...

I get 40-60 emails a day lately...and while I reply, I'm finding that I
need to do it in a very short message.

I particularly like your comment on 'managers react to the situation
they are given. That is SO true. One particular situation I've found,
as I handle over 100 calls, is the folks that tned to bundle several
calls in one envelope, and then wonder why their card isn't in the first
batch or two mailed out.

I think it's safe to say that most managers will get the card back to
you, and most of us know those managers and DX statiosn that do not
respond or have special 'requirements'. I think it's fair to say that
if you have not received your card, there is a reason, and it's highly
unlikely that it is lost in the mail. Most likely it's in the pile ot
do, and if it's delayed, its likely due to something the requestor did,
which made the manager work a bit harder.
