[Dx-qsl] Amazing

Let's put this in perspective, gentlemen. Yes, there are a few dedicated
souls who are deliberately causing QRM. Some are quite inventive. There is
also some inevitable "wrong VFO" QRM that we all cause occasionally. And
yes, there is just some poor operating, such as bad tailending, that slows
the pace for all and frustrates the VP6DI operators. I would suggest,
however, that the best solution is NOT TO RESPOND ON THE AIR TO ANY OF IT.
You aren't going the stop the deliberate QRMers; in fact you encourage them.
Telling some poor soul that he is on the wrong VFO just makes the situation
worse and may cause more delays and lost QSOs. THEY will figure it out.
Don't correct them on the air. As to those who show poor pileup ettiquette,
well, just leave them alone as well, at least on the air. If you want to
offer CONSTRUCTIVE critizism OFF THE AIR then go ahead. Just remember, some
of these may just be new DXers who don't yet know the rules of the game.
And finally, relax! They will be there for EIGHT DAYS! This is more than
enough time, even for our friends in Europe, to get in the log.
Most of all remember that the intentionally bad ops are a TINY minority.
Yes, it is easy for one bad apple to be heard around the world in our hobby,
but I think most of us recognize these hooligans for what they are. 73,
Steve, NN4T.
