i'm glad to hear others bring up some of this garbage. listening to vp6di
yesterday, i was embarassed to be a ham, and i was embarassed for my
country...some of the remarks people directed at others were incredibly
disgusting...it ought to help us understand why some in the world don't
think much of the U.S....meanwhile, i've turned off my rig for a few
days...maybe there will be some sanity on the bands later in the week...

I was listening to XR�X earlier on 28450 and the "comments" about various
cultures and certain government administrations and leaders from the
"frequency cops" was, to say the least, entertaining as well as embarrassing
to the hobby.  Add to that the many "tuner uppers" and sound-effects folks
on the frequency and it was a very unpleasant mess.  I wait for the day at
some WARC where someone plays tapes of these operations during a debate on
whether or not to refarm the frequencies to commercial/broadcast interests.
