Tony, a point of clarification...when I speak of donation, I'm not implying,
assuming, or suggesting that a donation is required of a QSL manager.  What
I am suggesting is that donations sent to a DXpedition, either directly or
to the manager, TO SUPPORT THE DXpedition (and not the QSL manager or any
other individual interests) is a logical way to consider when a team has to
prioritize sorting thru a large number of QSL requests, and deciding what
one to answer first.

I am a firm believer that NO ONE should line their pockets issuing QSL
cards.  If I get a buck, it goes back to the dx station, dxpedition, or to
pay for bureau cards.....basically, back to dxing.  In the case of the
DXpeditions I handle, I track donations and they go directly back to that
team.....frankly, that's part of the expectation that is required when you
attempt to solicit grants from the various DX funding foundations.
