Thanks for the Information John...
My tower is earthed with a heavy cable.....(BUT with a bend in it...which I
find is NO Good)
the only other earth is in My shack directly under My operating
bench.....(where the lightning earthed out!!!}
Some of My antennas were disconnected outside the house.....but it didn't
seem to make any difference....Now I find they should be earthed when not
connected to the shack....and the coax braid should be earthed at the tower
..where it leaves the tower......!!! Apart from the tower...there was a
direct strike on a metal sheet above the coaxial cables (going to the
shack)..
