[Dx-qsl] W2A & W2AA QSL CARDS......

Not entirely true.
Wayne N7NG from ARRL has indicated that the printed cards may be accepted IF
eQSL is acting as the QSL Manager for W2A & W2AA, and IF a human being has
examined and verified the cards before mailing them. And, at present, eQSL
is not offering their printed card service for stations outside of the US,
so it is of no use to the DX (though that will probably change at some time
in the future)
In any event, that's irrelevant. It is most unfortunate that long after the
fact, the QSL manager(s) for these stations have chosen to ignore (and have
trashed) cards sent via the bureau, many of which have been "in the
pipeline" for months or longer. It is further unfortunate that they have
tried to dump their responsibility for answering cards on eQSL.
I'm sorry, but my thinking is, if you're going to go to the trouble of
getting a 1x1 Special Event call, then you are responsible for following up
on QSL requests for those contacts or making sure that someone does,
regardless of how they arrive.
Having the cards trashed under the excuses of "too busy" and "download from
eQSL" translate too "don't bother me" and is disgraceful.

Just checked and they have posted their logs on eQSL.
Approx 13,000 QSO's each call. Individuals can go
online at eQSL and download their card from W2A and
W2AA. I understand that ARRL will accept these cards
for their awards if printed by the eQSL mail service
and postal mailed to you.
Just a thought for getting their cards.
