Hi All,
I remember when I first started DXing and I was the DX entity (ZP). I had
not a clue what I was doing and over a quarter of a century later there are
still folks making many of the same mistakes I did.
Is there help? Yes There Is! I recommend for all budding DXers and those
mentoring them to purchase a copy of AC6V's The Amateur Radio DX Reference
Guide - DXing 101X. Less that tweenty bucks and worth twice the price. Read
through it and if you have any questions when you are through go back and
read it again cuz you missed it the first time through Gawd, I wish I had
something like it 30 years ago.
Go to www.ac6v.com and see what's necessary to order it. Look in March's
Worldradio for the review. The usual disclaimers apply. I have no financial
interest in Rod's publication, I just think it should be at every DXer's
operating position. I know it is at mine.
