Hi Don,
The delays are configurable in the UHFA.CFG file. The numbers are in
milliseconds, and the defaults are not terribly long.
Here are the entries in my CFG file ..
// dly_ant2amp Delay in millisec, R->T after ant relay
dly_ant2amp 75
// dly_amp2xmit Delay in millisec, R->T after amp on
dly_amp2xmit 75
// dly_ant2amp Delay in millisec, T-R after RF off
dly_xmit2amp 25
// dly_ant2amp Delay in millisec, T->R after amp off
dly_amp2ant 100
You can start with some really huge numbers, like 500 to get a feel for
the timing. If the DSP-10 is in CW mode then there will be no RF generated
until you initiate a key down, or type on the keyboard.
Milliseconds !!
So 500 is 1/2 a second. In the realm of relays, that is very long.
