Hi Don,

I did a small ( four 7-element yagis ) array on two meters and a
homebrew kW SSPA and I've been having a BALL on EME ! Thanks to WSJT
I've made over 330 QSOs in about 3 years' time.
I'm not sure I'd try EME on the higher bands, only because the level of
activity is not as high as on 2. On nearly any given night, I can find
someone on 2 to QSO with, albeit most likely someone I've already
worked. That's not the case on the higher bands, at least from what I've
heard.

I have considered adding 1296 here, only because someone has offered me
a "free" 16-foot spun aluminum ( solid ) dish... but it would have to be
a completely remote affair, because the logistics of getting feedline
out to a dish with the existing 2 meter array and other underground
obstacles ( leach field and septic tank ) is fairly insurmountable. I'd
love to try a completely remote setup, rig, amp, everything right at the
dish.. then all I'd need would be a WiFI connection and some way of
feeding it AC power. So many projects..
