Hermann,

Thanks for the input. I am trying to help a friend with his Toshiba. He  
reports there is no Scroll Lock key.

I have done some searching on Toshiba Laptop computers, but have not found  
anything useful. I cannot believe that this function is not provided for.  
How it is accomplished is not readily apparent. Hopefully some one has  
solved this.
