Hi Joe and Mike,

I set up a mixer with a couple of signal generators to simulate your 
situation. Yes, the side bands end up backwards for high side transverters!

I have not worked through new_freq(), and also the mode changing routine to 
fix it, yet, but I did want to let you know this.

I did look at it enough to see that the transverter description in the 
instructions is wrong. For high-side mixing,  both .sb and .lo_freq should 
be positive. For low-side, .sb should be negative.

The .lo_freq should be the actual LO frequency in Hz. This is positive for 
either high or low side.

Now I need to make it work!!
