[DSP-10] Translation and BitScope

Hello Steve san

Thank you for visiting my web page! Seeing the Babelfish's translation 
of my page, it seems to do a good job when compared with other 
translation software, but it still funny in places (same as my 
English!)... Maybe translating Japanese to English is difficult due to 
the differences in syntax, vocabularies and so on... 

Regarding to the BitScope, I have a Network BitScope 300 (pre-built 
model ordered from Australia) with a Logic POD, which I have been used 
over a few years. The price is very affordable and its internal design 
is open (of course, with the great schematic sheet!). These properties 
should be welcome for all amateurs. I think that some drawbacks which I 
am listing up below should be carefully taken with the price and 
openness on the other side;

1) The version 1.1 of the DSO software is unstable, which I am running 
under Windows NT 4.0. I often experience hang-up with it. I sometimes 
switch to the previous version 1.0. It is a bit stabler than the 
version 1.0.
2) The document for the DSO is very poor. I had difficulties to become 
accustomed to the controls of the DSO.

I think it is questionable whether the BitScope is a fully reliable 
test equipment... Nevertheless playing with the BitScope is fun, and 
without it I could not have completed my DSP project!
