Hi Ken and all,

For all SMD parts I only used silver solder Paste.
That worked fine for me with the normal Weller solder station
and a 1.0 mm tip. Just apply on the pads small dots, place the part
and heat with the iron. Some solder wick to a few fix shorts, is 
still needed.

If you use single wiring, you may drill the corresponding
signals together, so they are  more immune against noise.
That works also if you split and drill ribbon cable.
