Greetings to the group,
Because of a recent failure of my trusty old Yaesu FT-107M which I use
for an IF for 2M and 432 I dusted of my DSP-10 to use as a 2M uplink on
satellite. I installed the new software and found all the adjustments it
to work as advertised it and greatly improved the quality of my SSB
signal. I do have problems on LSB however. The clipping level meter
shows no activity on LSB which I use for FO-29 because it is an inverting
satellite. The label changes on the "meter" in transmit just like USB
but the meter function does not seem to change. The output may be a
little less on LSB also. I can't drive the DAC into overload in LSB,
even with the mic gain set at 100. The down link audio from the
satellite sounds OK.
Anyone else experience a problem like this? I'm using the original EZ
lite DSP unit.
FM seems to be OK. I have used the unit with it's 5 watt amp on the FM
birds in the past but I can't use it now on SO-50 and AO-51 because of
the 67 hz tone requirement.
Would appreciate any help.
