I was hoping to find there were other "problem
solvers" subscribed. But that hasn't been the
case. Yours is the only response to my query.

Is there any activity in your area using the
DSP-10 ? LOcally it is still the same core group.
W7PUA, W7LHL, W7SZ and myself. We have been doing
a lot of interesting work with tropo. Actually
made a PUA43 contact on 10 GHz with W7PUA with a
30,000 ft common volume.

Bob, W7PUA is transmitting 24 hrs/day on 10 GHz
and Ernie and I are watching and recording the 30
bins on either side of the center frequency. I see
lots of airplane scatter, but not much signal
otherwise. Our weather has been hot and clear with
very little water vapor at the common volume.
Hoping for a change in the weather so we can see
something different.

How was your test with MGS and Linrad ??

Do you ever look at beacons that are below the
noise ??
