Hi Mike,

Thanks for the quick reply, I will try out some of your suggestions and
let
you know how they work out. I answered your questions at the end of each
paragraph.

ANS:
These functions are working fine and never fail to load.

ANS:
The frequency of the 126 oscillator is at 121MHz when
the error voltage from the PLL is at zero Volts.
Therefore, the frequency is being forced low. I
have run thru the frequency range from low to hi
with no results. I have not tried going outside of
the band. With zero error voltage, my operating
frequency would be 141.68MHz. I sure do not
want to be there. I live just across the fence from
the Navy and having retired from them as a micro-
wave design engineer for 30 years I know that they
use several frequencies in that area!!

I sure hope not!!

No, I am using the TAPR kit.

The +10T and +10R voltages have never been present.
At first I thought that the 74HC595 was bad and
replaced it without results. Then I assumed that if one
of the PLL's dropped out, the program would inhibit the
transmitter and receiver from operating, atleast I sure
hope that it would!

I am having no problems with loading the operating
programs since I use my hard drive.

No, I am not aware of them.
