Hello Perry!
Yes, ADI has two versions of the demo software, one time limited and the
other memory limited. I saw the $1750 price. That's a big discount from
the original $3500 price tag.
Concerning the DSP-10 and sound card, I have created a microcontroller
adapter. See

I've mentioned it on the list a couple of times but there does not seem to
be a lot of interest.
And I agree, an updated design would be great to help design out the
obsolete parts. What we really need is a common programming interface so
that we can program and design hardware that interworks. See AE4JY Amateur
