[DSP-10] Bench setup

Hello everyone,
I have done some smc work and found the following worked for me.
Put a small amount of solder on one of the two pads (resistors,
caps). Place the part with one end on top of the solder. Hold down the
part with your finger nail and push down as you apply heat to the solder
and part.( Try not to ignite your finger.) This assures that the
component will lay flat on the board. You could use a toothpic as
suggested by another person. Solder the unsoldered end, then go back and
retouch the end already soldered to make sure you got it good.
I am awaiting my kit and appreciate all of the suggestions of
others. I paticularly like the sweater box idea.
