John

KO7N and I assembled two units side by side.

We found and OLD KNITTING NEEDLE held in our portable PanaVice did a great=
=20
job of holding the VERY SMALL surface mount parts in place.

We placed the parts with tweezers and then let the KNITTING NEEDLE hold=20
them down while they got soldered into place. The KNITTING NEEDLE has=20
enough flex to hold firmly and still allow you to place and move the parts=
=20
with the tweezers.

This really helped these OLD (late 50s) shaking hands while we soldered.

The real easy part was watching KO7N do all the soldering work.

So letting KO7N do all the soldering work really makes mounting the parts=
=20
easy. He is much younger.
