Hello Hermann,
Interesting to see what your guys are busy with. I look forward to your
results.
I have seen an article describing a 10 MHz oscillator controlled by the
DCF77 signal from Mainflingen at 77.5 KHz. This might be a cheaper
alternative to GPS control. If there is interest in the article, I can try
to dig it up. It doesn't change the need for a good homebrew OCXO though.
I assume that there must be quite a few DSP-10 rigs in Europe. It would be
interesting to have a list available of those that experiment with it, so
that local (terrestial) experiments can be arranged. If there is interest in
such list, I am quite willing to set up a web page for it.
Hermann, please let me know how far you are with your DSP-10 rig. I received
my EZ kit and am waiting for the DSP-10 kit which I ordered from TAPR 5
weeks ago. Unfortunately delivery of the kit seems very slow, despite the
USD 36 shipping cost.
73's,
Ton, PA0TBR
(the ham from the Netherlands, hi)
