Not!  I thought your question was thoughtful and clearly
articulated in what you were asking, frustration and all.
As a side thought to your earlier comment, I to am a
single experimenter, I know of no local ham who has built
this kit, a buddy system maybe a way to go.  It appears to
me that there are a lot of highly technical people (double ee's)
that who have built this kit but who have never posted a
questions; if the questions hasn't been asked that doesn't
mean you are suppose to know it!!!  I have certainly made
some errors assembling this kit, (I work in a engineering lab
for a living and frankly would be embarrassed to admit what
mistakes I have made on this project, ask me once.) ;-(.
After working 50+ hour weeks, sometimes the last thing I
want to do when I get home is play with "its."   Keep on
asking. 73's & cul.
