Subject: [Drake] Drake L4B Plate voltage

My Drake L4B has been sitting unused for about three years. Today,I replaced
the blower wheel on the blower and have it fired up. Since I haven't been
using it, I have become unfamiliar with the meter readings.

My line voltage here,I suspect is about 240 vac because the the other shack
voltage is 120vac. My question is, what plate voltage should I see on the
L4B volt meter? It appears to be about 2,700 vdc in the SSB position. Does
that sound about what it should be?

Your experience with the normal plate voltages for the L4B will be
appreciated , John, K5PGW
