I am sure the majority of contest ops were upset at being asked to
be polite and to leave some segments of the bands for non-contesters,
but really, what percentage of 700,000 licensed Hams are contesters?
They even QRM important Nets like the 14.200 maritime and many of
the regularly-scheduled ARES-type Nets as they try to be sure they
are prepared for disaster comms. It really is both foolish and
selfish.
Are there any non-contest weekends any more?
