Bob
I had good results on a 2B and my R4 and T4X using Meguires auto paste wax
with cleaner. Clean chassis with a little warm water and dry off. Apply the
Mequires generously with assist from an old soft tooth brush, work it
around, let it dry and polish with Q tips and cotton balls. Won't get it all
first try or even the third but gets better as you go and you won't destroy
the laquer coating on the copper plated steel chassis or the stenciled on
nomenclature. AND, you have protected it against future corrosion.
Anything more agressive than that and off comes the lacquer. Then you have a
mess.
