[Drake] Drake Theta 9000e

I've picked up a nice 9000e, but have found when connected to either a flat 
panel LCD monitor or small TV (both with composite in yellow RCA socket) 
the image is offset to the left, losing a few characters. Neither the 
monitor or TV have image adjustments to counter the problem, and it is 
proving difficult to find one that does.

A friend's 9000e does the same thing.

Anyone encountered this problem? I'm thinking of trying a "video 
enhancer/stablizer" which may clean up the signal, if that is the issue.
