[Drake] AC4 P/S headache

My power supply for the TX4C,after idling for a couple of hours went 
south.Decided to do the Heathshop upgrade.When I removed the cover for it, found 2 
wires(the blue to fuse and and the grey to the 3 terminal strip}melted 
together,actually the grey opened up.They check as not shorted but this is bigger 
disaster in the making.There is also another open shield for an accessory plug.Some 
one had also tapped in for voltage for an unknown something off the 
transformer.
At the least I need to run 2 new wires, however getting them in the sheath 
seems like it would be difficult at best.Don't know what my chances of finding 
another power cord would be.Your suggestions, advise ?
